In language today we learned about Halloween traditions. Listen to Nicole and Jack on the vokis below for some interesting facts about this 2000 year old tradition.

We also had lots of fun dooking for apples.

We are having a few problems with our wikis just now. The content keeps disappearing! We are trying to fix this problem and we’ll let you know when we’re up and running again!

Last night we had our halloween disco. It was lots of fun and we all had a great time.

We have created wonderful wikis. Everyone in our class has their own wiki and we are going to be using these for writing.

Some people have started to write on them already. Have a read at Emma and  Sam’s fantastic Harvest poems. They have used lots of great words to paint a clear picture in your head.

If you fancy a scare this Halloween we will be posting our scary stories as well. Rachel has managed to do hers already! Have a read if you’re brave enough!

It’s HUGE!!!

In drama we were working on mirroring.

We worked in pairs and we had to take time to make up and perform a simple routine. It took a lot of practise to make sure we both did the same thing at the same time so that it looks like a mirror image.

We had lots of different drama scenes including driving, putting on make up, playing the computer, brushing teeth and getting ready for school.

In maths some of us have been looking at 3D shape. We have been making shapes from straws and plasticine.
